Omnidose Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your use of the Omnidose mobile application and related support pages. Omnidose is provided by Andrew Allsbury.
By downloading or using Omnidose, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. AI label scanning remains optional and is governed by the separate AI Consent disclosure if you choose to enable it. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the app.
Age requirement
Omnidose is only for people who are at least 18 years old. By using Omnidose, you confirm that you are 18 or older.
What Omnidose does
Omnidose is a local medication and supplement tracking tool. It can help you record substances, doses, stacks, reminders, side effects, treatments, and related notes. It can also create reports and user-directed exports.
Omnidose does not provide an account or cloud-sync service. App records are kept locally on your device unless you deliberately export or share them or choose to use optional AI label scanning.
Not medical advice
Omnidose is an informational recordkeeping tool. It is not a doctor, pharmacist, emergency service, medical device, diagnostic service, or substitute for professional judgment.
Do not use Omnidose to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. Do not start, stop, combine, or change a medication or supplement based only on information in Omnidose, an AI scan, a reminder, or a report. Ask a qualified healthcare professional about medical decisions and possible interactions.
If you may be experiencing an emergency, contact local emergency services or a qualified medical professional immediately. Do not wait for an Omnidose reminder or response.
Your records and responsibilities
You are responsible for reviewing the accuracy of anything you enter, import, scan, or export. Check substance names, strengths, units, quantities, dates, times, routes, reminders, and AI-assisted suggestions before relying on them.
You are also responsible for:
· Keeping your device and device passcode secure.
· Protecting exported files and reports, which may contain sensitive information.
· Keeping an up-to-date JSON backup if you need to move or restore your records.
· Confirming important schedules independently with a qualified professional.

Correcting or deleting inaccurate records.
JSON is the official full backup and restore format for Omnidose. CSV is for spreadsheet/export use only, not full backup or restore, and may not preserve every app feature.
Reminders are not guaranteed
Omnidose reminders depend on your device, operating-system permissions, notification settings, power state, time-zone settings, and other conditions outside the app's control. A reminder may be delayed, suppressed, or missed.
Do not rely on Omnidose as the only way to remember a time-critical medication, treatment, or safety step.
Optional AI label scanning
AI label scanning is optional, off unless you consent, and only starts when you deliberately ask Omnidose to analyze selected label images. Manual tracking remains available without AI.
When you use AI scanning, selected label images, information visible in those images, and processing instructions may be sent directly from your device to Google Gemini for analysis. AI results can be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate. You must verify every result before saving or using it.
Your use of Gemini also depends on Google's current terms, privacy practices, regional availability, account or project configuration, and charges. Do not submit sensitive, confidential, or personally identifying information to Gemini. More detail is available on the AI Consent page:

Third-party services
Omnidose may interact with services provided by Apple, Google, your email provider, your file-sharing destinations, or other services you choose. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices. Andrew Allsbury does not control and is not responsible for a third party's service, availability, charges, or data handling.
Acceptable use
You may use Omnidose only for lawful, personal recordkeeping purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
You may not:
· Use the app in a way that violates law or another person's rights.
· Attempt to bypass security, interfere with the app, or gain unauthorized access.
· Reverse engineer or redistribute the app except where applicable law expressly permits it.
· Use AI features in a way that violates Google's terms or applicable law.

Represent an Omnidose output as professional medical advice.
App license and ownership
Subject to these Terms and the license terms supplied by the app marketplace, you receive a limited, personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable, revocable license to use Omnidose on devices you own or control.
Omnidose, its design, and its original content remain the property of Andrew Allsbury or the applicable rights holders. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the app or its intellectual property to you.
Availability and changes
Omnidose may be updated, changed, suspended, or discontinued. Features can change because of safety work, operating-system changes, third-party requirements, or product decisions. No particular feature or uninterrupted availability is promised.
These Terms may be updated. The updated date will appear at the top of this page. When required, the app will ask you to review and accept updated terms before continuing.
Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Omnidose is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation, or error-free results.
AI output, reminders, imported data, reports, and calculated summaries can be wrong or incomplete. You remain responsible for independently verifying information that affects your health or safety.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions. Nothing in these Terms removes a right that applicable law does not allow you to waive.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Andrew Allsbury will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from use of or inability to use Omnidose, including loss caused by inaccurate records, AI output, missed reminders, data loss, or an insecure export.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where applicable law does not permit a limitation.
Ending use
You may stop using Omnidose at any time. You can delete local app data from Settings or delete the app from your device. Deleting local app data cannot delete copies that you exported, shared, or supplied to a third party.
