PEV Ride Computer: Data and Deletion
PEV Ride Computer has no app account and no Neuralis cloud copy of your rides. Most removal happens on your own Android device. This guide explains what each option removes and which copies may remain.
Delete a saved ride
Open the ride in History and choose its delete action. Confirm Delete ride to remove that saved ride, its route, statistics and notes from the app. Finish an active ride before deleting it.
Previously exported files, replay videos, backups, safety history and Trip A/B counters are not erased by deleting a ride.
Remove a vehicle or saved setup
Deleting a vehicle from Garage removes it from the active Garage and removes its Trip A/B counters. Its saved rides and historical vehicle information remain in History. Removing a saved setup does not delete vehicles or rides that used it.
Remove a safety contact
Open Ride safety and choose Remove for the contact. This removes the contact from the current contact list. Earlier incident records and message history can still contain their name and phone number. Removing a contact does not recall sent messages. An all-clear for an earlier alert can still include that alert's original recipients when you explicitly confirm it.
If you are receiving unwanted safety texts, ask the rider who sent them to remove you. The app does not read replies. If you need help understanding a message, contact support@neuralisai.com without forwarding more personal information than necessary.
Remove downloaded maps
Use Manage maps and choose Remove for an installed region. Your recorded rides and saved videos remain.
Remove all information stored by the app
Save any files you want to keep, finish recording and stop active exports or safety countdowns. In Android Settings, open Apps, select PEV Ride Computer, then open Storage or Storage & cache and choose Clear storage or Clear data. Wording varies by phone. Clearing cache alone does not remove all app data. Uninstalling the app also removes its app-private storage.
These actions remove local rides, Garage information, settings, safety contacts and history, downloaded maps, temporary app files and the recovery copy kept before the last restore. They do not erase a backup, GPX/KMZ file or MP4 video saved elsewhere, a copy shared with another app, a carrier's message records or messages on a recipient's phone.
Use your file manager or the receiving service to remove external copies separately. Review any cloud drive or device backup you manage. Importing an old app backup can restore information you previously deleted.
Ask Neuralis to delete support information
To request deletion of personal information you sent to support, email support@neuralisai.com with the subject “PEV Ride Computer data deletion.” Send the request from the email address used for support where possible and identify the relevant conversation. Do not send your full backup, route history or a password.
We will explain any information we need to locate or verify the request and any information that must be retained for applicable legal obligations. Neuralis cannot remotely erase data it does not hold, including data stored only on your phone, in third-party services or with message recipients.
