Include your phone model, Android version, app version, what you were trying to do and the message you saw. A cropped screenshot can help. Keep personal routes, contact numbers and other sensitive details out of the first message.
Recording a ride
Choose a vehicle in Garage, allow precise location, and start recording when you are ready to ride. Recording can continue with the screen locked. Check the recording notification and location status before setting off. Poor satellite reception, disabled permissions, battery restrictions or interrupted phone operation can leave gaps or reduce accuracy.
Stop in a safe place before interacting with the screen. The app's speed, distance, energy and range figures are estimates or measurements with limitations; use your vehicle's instruments and your own judgment when planning a ride.
Vehicle setups and battery estimates
Garage supports electric skateboards, electric unicycles, self-balancing boards, scooters, e-bikes and e-motos. Advanced specifications help tailor estimates. They do not connect to or change your vehicle's controller. Live vehicle telemetry is not included.
Battery and remaining-range estimates depend on the information you enter and riding conditions. Leave a margin for hills, temperature, wind, load and battery condition. A displayed estimate is not a promise that you can complete a route.
Replays and offline maps
Open a saved ride to review its highlights and create an MP4 replay. Choose which moments to include, adjust the view and add music you have permission to use. Replay rendering happens on your phone; export time depends on your phone and the selected video.
Download an available map region before you need it offline. Downloads need an internet connection and free storage. Coverage is limited to the regions offered in the app. You can use a route-only replay when a suitable map is unavailable. Remove installed regions in Manage maps to free space.
Backups and changing phones
Use Backup & restore to save a full backup, then copy it to a location you trust. Backups contain private ride routes, settings, safety contacts and history. They are not password protected by the app.
Restoring replaces the current app data after you review and confirm it. The app keeps a recovery copy of the data from before the most recent restore. Downloaded maps, permissions, the texting SIM and temporary files are not transferred. Review Ride safety after restoring: automatic alerts are turned off and restoring does not send texts.
Ride safety and SMS
Ride safety is optional. Add only people who have agreed to receive your texts, using full international phone numbers. Adding a contact sends an introduction. The app does not read replies, so remove contacts yourself if they ask to stop receiving messages.
SMS needs a compatible phone, an active texting SIM, permission and mobile service. Check the readiness messages, notification settings and alarm volume. The Test alarm option tests the countdown without sending SMS.
Automatic possible-incident detection is experimental and works only during ride recording when its requirements are met. It can miss an incident or trigger when no incident occurred. A mounted phone may reflect what happened to the vehicle rather than the rider. Check the Armed status before riding.
A help alert is sent when the countdown ends or when you choose to send it sooner. You can cancel during the countdown. A sent status does not prove delivery, that someone read the message, or that help is coming. You may send an all-clear update for a previous alert; dismissing an alert result sends nothing.
The app does not call emergency services or provide a monitored emergency response. If you need urgent help, contact your local emergency services directly when you can. Support email is not an emergency channel.
Purchases, privacy and deletion
App purchases are handled by Google Play. For a purchase problem, include the relevant order information in your support email; do not send payment-card details. Refund eligibility is governed by Google Play and applicable consumer rights.
